Today is Tuesday, and I leave for Atlanta on Saturday.

It’s surreal — leaving DC after 6 years, going to a city I never imagined living in where I don’t know anyone, stepping into an awesome new job, leaving my friends, leaving Jill’s family, temporarily leaving Jill….

What’s so:

• The house is almost ready to be put on the market, but there’s stilll a lot to do in the office. I’m sick — cough & sore throat — which makes it harder.
• I’m about 70% packed
• I need to schedule the housecleaning
• I need to finish my new job paperwork
• I need to join AAA
• I have scheduled a "house hunting" afternoon when I first get to Atlanta
• I have a hotel for the first week and a few leads for short term housing after that. Gotta love Craig’s List….
• And, I’m starting this blog because I was so inspired by Jessamyn’s book list (and also to update folks about what/how I’m doing with the move).
