More and More Real
I’m sitting in the office in our condo in Reston, listening to the 3 guys from Armstrong Relocation packing up everything we own. That beats us packing it all, no doubt, but there’s something strange and hard and surreal about it. They’ll be here all day today, and again tomorrow from roughly 8-2.

Brokerage Reviews
I have been reading seemingly endless reviews of brokerage options, as I get ready to consolidate all of our various IRAs, stock option accounts, 401ks, and experimenting-with-investing accounts.

The House and the Neighborhood
The house is painted! There are no more traces of olive green or spicy brown mustard!!!
The main living area is now a quiet, warm light beige color, and the dining room is cream. The beige looks almost peach in the foyer, I think because of the thick glass light fixture.

New Format - Book Notes in Blog Entries
Book commentary is going to go in the main blog page. I’ll still be tracking in book lists, and I’ll put the star rating etc there, but the comments will be regular entries. There just wasn’t enough room or formatting available the other way.
