Levi, with Mama Mindy, is cosy and sleepy as he leaves the hospital. Mama Melissa is tired but doing well, in spite of having been in labor for 14 hours, and Levi is said to be "mostly happy but occasionally howling."
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
We’re so excited that you’re ahead of us on this adventure, so once you aren’t quite so acutely sleep deprived, we can call you for advice. And of course, we’re delighted that 5 months from now, we expect to welcome a little playmate for Levi.

Ok, too, too weird small world! I found your blog through Em & Brooke and was just kind of crusing through until I saw this picture! I know M&M (used to take karate with Melissa) and heard through the grapevine that they were pregnant. But how funny to see the first picture of the little guy on SOMEONE ELSE’S BLOG?!?!?

You’re formerly part of the Aspen Grove of karate people??? I bet we know several people in common.
I’m the infamous yenta who introduced M&M, way back in the day.
Also funny to me is that I found your blog some weeks back, and failed to bookmark it. I’m so glad you found mine, so I could find yours again.

Phew! I bet we do know a lot of people in common, but I also had one of those panic attacks: “What if I know her but I’ve forgotten her and she remembers me?!?” Thankfully, that appears not to be the case, so, nice to meet you!
And for a wannabe librarian you have a much more biblio-centric blog than I do - I’d been wondering if you were a lib, based on the sheer diversity of your reads.
I’ll have to give Pullman another try. It was too dark for the mood I was in at the time. And is it Eragon or Eldest you’ve just read? I haven’t gotten my hands on Eldest yet, but lots of kids at school have and I am ITCHING!
