You might have noticed that Typepad was totally F(@#$&d up yesterday. It claimed to me that it was showing a 2-day old version of the blog, but since the "most recent" entry showing was actually from 12/7, I think that was unrealistically optimistic. It still appears to have eaten my December booklist.
It also, at one point, let me in to write a post which it appeared to save, but which has melted away into the ether. Of course that post was much funnier than this one!
Wish us luck at Birthing Class "boot camp" today. It runs from 9-5 and after reading about Emilin and Brooke’s experience, and listening to the Breastfeeding Class instructor joke about women calling the "football hold" the "baseball hold" and the fathers being better at remembering all this information about breasts, I’m a little nervous.
Universe, please let the instructor try to use inclusive language. She doesn’t have to be perfect about it, I just want to feel like she’s trying to include us. It would be faboo if we weren’t the only same-sex couple in the class, but that’s just icing if the instructor has us feeling comfortable.
And THANK YOU Sean, for telling me that I can refer to Macbeth by name if I’m not in a theater. I’ve observed that theater people tend to be fairly superstitious and I hate making them nervous, especially by accident.
