I just got one of those e-mails from out of the blue that make you feel all smart and interesting! I love that, especially from smart people you don’t even know.

As I think most of you know, I have a HUGE admiration for librarians, and a secret desire to be one. Or at least to hang out with them all the time.

I read a bunch of librarian blogs that I don’t link to here, because I feel like my blogroll is already too long. (I might change and reorg it next weekend, we’ll see.)

ANYWAY, one of the librarian blogs I read is Librarian Avengers, which I find extremely funny and interesting, only I wish she posted more often. And I got into a pre-holiday discussion in the comments, on the subject of Holiday Decorating. Actually, on the subject of being ASKED about holiday decorating.

And today, I got an email from the Avenging Librarian herself, calling mine the "Best. Comment. Ever." And congratulating us on the upcoming baby, with the comment, "Thank you for making our genepool better."

Best. Comment. Ever. That makes my day! (And it was a  really good day. I finally managed to reconcile some apparently conflicting data that I’ve been struggling with off and on for almost a year!) And if it weren’t a week that involved the jello shooter incident, "Best. Comment. Ever." would probably have made my week.
