I’m having one of those moments where my life just amuses the heck out of me.
Plans for today include:
- Mopping all of non-carpeted areas in our house,
- Laundry, at least 3 loads,
- Asking one of our neighbors to help Jill unload our new changing-table/dresser and bring it upstairs,
- Possibly going to the farmers market,
- "Tea" to celebrate the New Year, with the Smith College Club of Atlanta, and
- Watching "The L Word"
Fruit & Veg Count, 1/21: 1 cup mixed veggies (green beans, carrots, cauliflower, and one brussels sprout)

Football…you forgot football.

Oh yes—let’s root for…ah…which team?
I am also looking forward to The L Word, even though I couldn’t defend Jenny after last week’s peeing episode.

*chuckle* I was hoping that the fact of the football games would make the grocery store less crowded, but I went to the farmer’s market. Not so much of an overlap between football fans and people who shop at the farmer’s market.
On the plus side, they had small organic gala apples that *didn’t* look like anyone had played football with them, so my most persistant craving can continue to be fulfilled.
And now that it looks like both Bette and Tina are going to have affairs this season, who thinks that Kit and M-Angus the Manny are going to raise Angelica?
Oh, and Jill unpacked the dresser and wrestled it up the stairs alone, thankfully without hurting herself. It looks wonderful — the nursery is really coming together.
