Fun Sunday
Since technically Smudge’s wake-up hiccuping fit was Monday, I’m still comfortable saying that Sunday was a very nice day. Even though it was raining.
First of all, I had a blast at the Atlanta Smith Club Tea. There were two people from my class at the tea, and I knew both of them! One was […]

In Utero Hiccups
Smudge has had the hiccups, I think, since about 3:40 am. It is now 4:25 am.
The good news is that hiccups don’t bother little babies, so I can’t imagine that they bother him in utero. But the bad news is that when your middle shakes every few seconds, it’s impossible to get back to […]

Exciting Sunday Plans
I’m having one of those moments where my life just amuses the heck out of me.
Plans for today include:
Mopping all of non-carpeted areas in our house,
Laundry, at least 3 loads,
Asking one of our neighbors to help Jill unload our new changing-table/dresser and bring it upstairs,
Possibly going to the farmers market,
"Tea" to celebrate the New […]

Hit the consignment store and acquired a very cool new-looking bouncy seat and one of those colorful, rubber, interlocking floormat puzzles (for over the itchy […]

But I read Free Will Astrology just now, and it was SOOOOOO appropriate for this week […]

Go, Maryland, Go!!!
A Maryland
circuit court ruled today that Maryland’s statute denying marriage to
same-sex couples is a violation of the state constitution.
The American Civil Liberties Union filed a lawsuit on July 7, 2004, in
partnership with Equality Maryland, on behalf of nine same-sex couples
and a surviving gay partner, charging that it is a violation of state
constitution to deny […]

Lighter Notes
I ate the poorest excuse for a vegetable that I’ve ever eaten, or even heard of, but it was good! It was called a "broccoli bite" and was a mixture of broccoli and American cheese, battered and deep fried.
The medical visit indicated that I’m still in good health and so is Smudge, but sadly, he’s […]
