This is Jill–Thanks to everyone for all your cheers and support!!!!!!!

According to Liza, Big Noah is eating like a champ on his first full day of his life!    His last two feedings have been 25 minutes long.  These feedings, of course, has Liza wanting to eat like a champ herself!

I got to change his first diaper last night, and apparently he poops like a champ, too.

Our pediatrician checked him out yesterday and he’s been cleared to be released from the hospital, but because of the C-section, he’ll be sticking around until Liza’s estimated release day (Monday).

(The hospital staff, BTW, has been great to us.   We were also lucky to have a terrific nurse through it all,  Shellee. The two moms have not been made to feel the least bit out of place, and the care we have gotten has been superb, both medically and personally.)

Liza is doing well; she is now off the epidural and is on perccoset (sp) and is quite happy and hungry.  She’ll get to have a shower a little later today and she finally has been allowed to get up and walk around a little since she has not gotten up since 9pm Thursday!

And, because the technologically-inclined person in our relationship is in the hospital and has no computer access, the technologically-deprived person in our relationship will make her best efforts to try to post pictures of Big Noah here this evening!    :)
