How’d That Happen?
Posted by Liza under Personal
I totally lost a day this week.
Worse, I don’t even know which one it was.
All I know is that I was totally convinced that yesterday was Wednesday, and today was Thursday, until Jill and I got into a discussion about the NCAA regional tourny that will be played at the Georgia Dome next Thursday and next Saturday. She insisted that next Thursday was not, in fact, a week from today, and proved it by showing me the newspaper, which was dated Friday, March 17.
Maybe it got caught up in the fluids leaking from Virginia and was washed away.

Fruit & Veg Count, 3/16: (I can still do yesterday and today, even if I have to take other people’s words for their dates or days of the week.) 2/3 cup of baby carrots mixed into corn soup. The post on being dairy-free for a week will, I hope, come later today.

Liza:
I remember being so tired during the newborn phase that I could not grasp the meaning of a story in the newspaper (which I tried to read daily to stay, you know, in touch with the world outside). Aren’t newspapers written on a fourth-grade reading level or something? Anyway, losing a day is probably pretty common among new parents. Looks like Noah is doing so well! Hurrah for the swing, right?
