Jill took these pictures last night, after I rubbed the anti-fungal cream all over The King’s poor little head. We thought he looked so cute, like a mad scientist.

We also thought it would be fun to get a picture of both of us in this state of delirium, along with the toy I’m most enjoying at the moment. You should see him look at it — he even sticks his tongue out "back" at the inchworm. But so far, he has no interest in touching it himself. He’d rather scratch at his itchy face.

We did a trek out to Target this morning, to see about finding mitts that The King might wear. Since he didn’t freak out about having the sleeve-mitts on yesterday, I’m cautiously optimistic.

Not only did we find two different kinds, one of them has rattles! I think he’ll have fun with that. I also found a package of zip-up footie pjs, which I bought in the 3-6 month size since I think he’ll hit 12.5 lbs very soon. (Certainly no later than Easter.)

And I bought an adorable pair for Easter, with little chicks and Easter Eggs on them. I really want to do some over the top cute Easter pictures of him — I think I’m going to go out and buy a big Easter basket & some big plastic eggs at the neighborhood Big Lots. I have this vision of pictures of The King sitting in the basket, hopefully even holding an egg.
