I decided a few minutes ago to add an amazon.com baby registry banner ad to the Pumping & Gear review page up top.
As soon as it appeared — near the top of the page, post-introduction, pre-reviews — EVERYTHING below it disappeared. All the reviews. All the links. All of your comments.
It is going to take me f*cking forever to redo that, not to mention all of your helpful comments. I’m so pissed off I can’t even stand it.
I’m going to bed.

Another reaon to dislike Amazon: well over half of Amazon’s poltical contributions go to the R********n party. Barnes & Noble, on the other hand, gives 100% of its politcal donations to the Democratic party.

I don’t much care for corporate sponsorship of any party, but given the choice I now shop at B&N online instead of Amazon — assuming my local independent bookseller doesn’t have what I need, or doesn’t have it used at a price I can afford.

Shana, this is reason number 247 that I adore you. Because it disappears from the front page when I turn it from a post into a page, I thought it disappeared forever!!! But I was WRONG! Yeah!!!
I will replace it, better than it ever was, later today.
