A Whirlwind Trip to DC

We are back from our whirlwind trip to Washington DC where we:
- Saw Grandma & Grandpa TWICE
- Met Amanda (age 4.5 months) and introduced Noah to Amanda’s Mom, Dad and dog
- Saw Mikki & Claire get married
- Marched for the homeless, where we also got the surprise benefit of getting to meet Monica & Susanne of Oh, Susanica!, because Susanne works with Amanda’s Mom
- Remembered how little we miss DC traffic
- Caught an ear infection (only Noah)
Other than the traffic and the ear infection, both of which upped our stress level and made us a little snippy, it was a good trip.

Unfortunately, we weren’t able to get any shots of Amanda crying when Noah kissed her.

Wow, I’m exhausted just from reading! Lovely pictures of Noah as usual (and my goodness he’s chipper for having an ear infection), and that’s a great shot of you giving him a little kiss.

Nice pictures indeed! I hope he recovers from the ear infection quickly.
I emailed my dissertation chair Claire’s book’s title — Jane is currently writing a book on cultural narratives and gay marriage. She and her wife opted for a Canadian wedding last summer. I suspect she already has Claire’s book but figured it couldn’t hurt to mention it in case she doesn’t.
