Not to Gender Stereotype, But…
Posted by Liza under Personal, The Real Live Boy
Noah is turning into SUCH a little boy. Do you think it’s because of his new frat-boy haircut? I just wanted his neck to be less sweaty, and the hair to stay out of his eyes for awhile.
Noah spent the weekend alternating between playing “Bah!” — which mostly looks like lifting a basketball that is 40% his size, heaving it in my general direction (or Jill’s), and giggling hysterically — and playing “Cah!” We even took him to watch one of the women’s semi-final games at a kid-friendly sports-bar type restaurant. While exploring the waiting area, he found a “Cah!” that had been lost by another small child, and so he never once looked at the people playing “Bah!”
Fortunately, the people around us were absorbed in the game, not Noah.
And our adventures this weekend also included seeing Apa! We all talked about how much we miss The Baby Juggler family, and how much Noah has grown. It was nice to run into her and exciting to learn that she’s got a Real Grown Up Job now. I think Noah enjoyed playing Bah! with Apa, too.
