I had a great post 90% written, then I kicked the power strip. Now I’m tired and frustrated and I don’t feel like re-writing.
Bottom line: this money thing has been rough, I’d say I had some breakdowns this weekend in buying stuff for Noah, but I’m staying strong on buying stuff for me, including starbucks.
Enjoy Noah trying to eat a popcicle with a fork.

You are determined to do the popscicle thing, aren’t you?
I responded to your Diana Gabaldon comment on my blog. LOVE HER! I am so glad to know you are enjoying her. Did I tell you I got J addicted too?

Er, or as well as me. Not sure if I got you addicted or not.

Do you remember when Isabel first lived with us and tried to eat a hard shelled Taco with a knife and fork?
This is like that…

Kat, you and my friend Dori were the first recommenders, and got me to order the Gabaldon from half.com. But when it arrived, the cover was so cheesy that I couldn’t bring myself to read it.
Then she appeared on Reno’s non-academic reading list, and I thought, “All 3 of those people have good taste in books. Perhaps I should get over the cheesy cover.”
In spite of Noah’s best efforts, I inhaled the first book in less than a week.
Anna, I don’t remember us ever having hard shelled tacos at home. Was Dad there??? What did he eat?

Around age 10 I got into “Mexican” food and Mom started making Ortega Tacos at home.
Dad probably ate a pork chop… big surprise.
