I’ve been having some trouble with my cell phone, a Treo 650.

Maybe I should get that taken care of today, before I leave town with it. Dumb idea. DUMB.

Now it’s been reset to factory defaults, only it turns out that somehow the synch we did beforehand actually failed to work.

In other words, EVERY SINGLE PHONE NUMBER IS GONE.

That thumping sound? Me banging my forehead against the keyboard.

PS – Those of you who know me in real life? I don’t have that 202 number any more. Neither does Jill.

  1. Oh dear. I did that with a camera once — decided to reset something-or-other, and erased all the pictures I’d taken. The worst part? These were the pictures from the first half of my flight with Denice across the Great Basin.

You have email coming with my phone #.

  2. I am too lazy to actually do it, particularly as I have a defacto backup in my paper “memory” (a small DayRunner) but when I was buying the Global SIM for my Syrian Trip I ran across a number of products like this:

Some of them were standalone, where this one puts it on your computer.

    Take care,
    Covert
