And by popular demand, of course I mean Grandma. Not that the rest of you weren’t waiting for new cute pictures of Noah.
Noah really is willing to play with his choo-choos approximately 60% of the day. This was during that window, before he got bored and started throwing them. Including at the television. Which was immediately turned off, followed almost instantly by a time-out for Noah, which he more-or-less voluntarily complied with, which was in turn followed by breakfast. And then a run through the neighborhood.

Hi, I wasn’t sure how to contact you other than making irrelevant comments on your blog. Thanks for dropping by my blog and commenting. I would like to be listed on lesbianfamilies.org. Just out of curiosity, is an almost 20 month old a baby or a little kid and is a 6 1/2 y/o a little kid or a big kid? (I guess he’s a big kid since the next category up is tween, but sheesh, a big kid? He’s my little boy!)
p.s. My (big?) boy’s a Noah, too.

Thank you for the pics! I was beginning to think the camera got lost. It’s good to know the face scratch is history, and the obsession with trains is still going full throtle. (Otherwise the already acquired Christmas gifts would have to be recycled) Can’t wait to see you all up close and personal. With camera!

So how many of your Thomas choo-choos were caught up in the big recall? Or is that only the tiny wooden magnetic ones?

I’m sorry, but that’s not a cute photo. It is BEYOND cute.
Joaquin is a throw-er too. Sigh. It gets a little frustrating, doesn’t it?

I think the recalled pieces were wooden ones. We bought a bunch of random choo-choos from a neighbor’s yard sale about 2 weeks before the recall. Only one was included.
We also bought some choo-choos at Ikea, whom I have decided to trust even though they were manufactured in China. Although having found out that the Aqua-Dot recall was actually the fault of Canadians has shaken my faith. We’ve only bought one new choo-choo since then. (Mama Henry and his/her baby coal car.)
I’m thinking that any new trains we get Noah, say for his birthday, will come from here: http://www.woodentrain.com/ (Made in the US! Totally adorable! Not cheap. But neither are the Thomas lines.)
Shana, have you had any luck dealing with the throwing? It’s making us crazy.
