congratulations! also, i love that your plan has an out, so that 130 doesn’t just hang around making you feel bad if you don’t get there. i think my body is just not that into being in the middle of the BMI range; i’ve spent my adult life at the “normal/overweight” border, and i think that may be my “normal,” population statistics (since that what BMI charts are) be damned.

My daughter is five and a half, still heavily into the princesses — I keep thinking it has to end soon but it doesn’t. But you had some good points in your last post. They are not all bad. That Car Toons movie sounds horrible. We will steer clear.

Sending prayers for all, you are so right, none of us are promised tomorrow. I come home from the hospital many days and just sit and hug my kids and my partner, grateful for every second.

Makes sense, it is healthy to have time alone and just focus on yourself. I think more of us should do that, it is so easy to get caught up in kids that you forget to care for yourself, not something I want to pass on to my kids.
